TXT180.com Picks Authorize.net for Payment Gateway on Reseller Billing System
St. George, UT (PRWEB) June 18, 2012
TXT180.com, a leading mass text message marketing service provider, recently developed and implemented an integrated billing system for TXT180 text marketing resellers to use. The new billing system allows for automated, recurring billing of the reseller’s customers so that the reseller doesn’t have to go to the hassle of manually processing payments for every customer order. For the billing system to work correctly resellers will need to sign up with a merchant account provider and gain Authorize.net access. In an effort to make the process as seamless and easy as possible, TXT180 has a partnership with Merchant Warehouse, who provides free Authorize.net access with a merchant account.
Authorize.net is an online payment gateway. At a traditional point-of-sale terminal where the customer actually swipes a card the payment authorization is run through a phone line. When someone makes a purchase online through shopping cart software, via a mobile phone, or through any other method other than physically swiping a credit card, a payment gateway will be used to accept and process the transaction information. The process is more complicated because all of the data is being transferred through the internet. As such, security can be an issue. Because Authorize.net has been handling this type of transaction since 1996 they have proven how reliable and secure the service is. TXT180 has chosen Authorize.net as the exclusive payment gateway provider for their system. TXT180 SMS resellers can choose any merchant account they want to use but they must have Authorize.net access for managing transactions, creating reports, etc.
SMS (short message service) marketing has really taken off in recent years. TXT180is fairly new to the industry but has quickly made a name for themselves as the low-cost leader for text marketing services. The TXT180 reseller platform is very easy to manage and use and beats the competition’s pricing structure in nearly every case. Joining the white label reseller program makes it possible for an individual to add the text marketing service to an existing marketing business or allows an entrepreneur to create an entire business as a SMS service provider. Because the TXT180 pricing is so low, resellers still have plenty of room for mark-up while keep their pricing structure competitive with other businesses in the industry.
Current or new TXT180 resellers can sign up for the new billing system from his/her reseller control panel. When the upgrade is complete the reseller will be prompted to enter the API keys from the Authorize.net account. No matter who the reseller chooses to sign up with for merchant services, he will need to verify that he will have Authorize.net access. Visit the TXT180reseller page for additional information about the integrated billing system or contact the TXT180 support team.
TXT180 was founded in 2010 by experts with years of experience in the mobile and internet services industries. The TXT180 reseller platform was launched more than a year ago and has been largely successful for anyone wanting to resell SMS.
