Try, its FREE, its an online tool. It will show you your credit score, positive credit, negative credit, public judgements, open and closed accts.

No, but…if you know someone that works for a bank, retail store, anywhere that offers credit; they can run your credit for you. In order to do it they have to as a request for credit, which will ding you for a few points.

Go to and search for ‘free credit report’. They will give all the necessary info. FYI: you are entitled (by law) one free credit report per annum from each of the 3 credit bureaus (equifax, trans-union, experian) after that you will have to pay someone like which they will try to get you to join their service; however, you do not have to…but again visit; there is a lot of good info on there.
