Credit repair is not science..its basically looking at your credit report and DISPUTING how hard is that??? It can get time consuming if you have 10 bad items because now you have to do it 30 times. People pay because they lack information..knowledge..PERIOD. Once you get the knowledge you can do ANYTHING if your not a lazy *******. I can show someone how to do all this in 5 minutes..!

Listed below is the link for the official FREE credit report that consumers are entitled to annually. You can pull one report from each of the three credit bureaus. A good strategy is to pull one report from one bureau, then 4 months later pull from the second bureau, then 4 months later, pull from the third bureau. That way you can effectively monitor your credit for an entire year for free.

However getting your credit score for free is completely different. Even through the link below, you will be asked to pay to obtain your credit scores, but not the credit report itself. The government only allows free access to your credit report, not credit scores.

Most of the ads that are about suggesting that you can obtain a credit score for free, usually require you to sign up for a monitoring service or something similar to obtain your “free” credit score, so the process there is obviously not free.

I have never heard of that. The only way I know of to “clean” or “sweep” you r credit is to file bankruptcy and eliminate all debt.

Each of the 3 credit reporting bureaus are required by law to give you a free freport once a year. You DO NOT have to go to a site like freecreditreport.com, which is quite the scam.

Just look up Equifax, TransUnion or Experian and get one of their free anual reports.

annualcreditreport.com is a site which will direct you to the above bureaus.
